Bind Guild Charter
1) As a guild, Bind is committed to enjoying the game and enjoying one another. Our goal is to participate in high level content together with as little drama as possible.
2) The rules outlined in our charter apply to all members regardless of rank within the guild. All players in Bind are required to read and abide by these rules. Not knowing the rules of Bind is never an excuse for poor behavior.
3) Failure to follow the policies listed in this document can and will result in punishment up to and including removal from the guild as Bind's leadership sees fit.
Policies - In Game
1) The members of Bind enjoy a good reputation on Archimonde, and it is our intent to keep it that way. At no time will Bind members engage in idiotic fights either in the guild or outside the guild in the public channels. Acting foolish not only hurts your reputation as a player but also the image of the guild. Wearing our tag makes you an ambassador of the guild, whether you want that position or not.
2) Should any dispute arise within the guild, players shall never attack one another verbally or attempt to exact revenge by other means. Issues in game should be brought to the attention of an officer, be that in game at the time of dispute or via private message in the forums. Remember, your guildies are your team, and should be treated with respect.
3) It is never acceptable for members of Bind to practice any form of "ninja looting." Players are responsible for setting and understanding looting rules prior to any group play and abiding by those rules for the duration of the group. In guild raid situations, looting shall be determined by the raid leader. In most cases, guild raid groups will be "master looted" and items either rolled for, purchased using DKP, or distributed using an attendance hierarchy. Each instance the guild raids is subject to different loot rules. Bind members are responsible to read the raid forums and remain current on looting rules for individual instances.
4) SEXISM, RACISM, RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE, SLANDER OR ANY OTHER OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
You will be removed from the guild immediately for violating this rule. These rules apply not only to the guild channel, but also to Ventrilo, the guild forums, and around the Warcraft world. Being in Bind provides you with a secure home, but also comes with responsibilities. Respect other players and enjoy the game.
Policies - Administrative
1) Activity - Members of Bind are expected to remain active. This policy does not apply to alts, as they are often left on the shelf for quite some time. If a player must be inactive for any length of time, an email or private message to Vexum can forestall removal.
2) Leaving Bind - While it is our hope that you enjoy the guild and stay, we understand that players may need to move on to other things. If you decide to /gquit, please keep in mind that your decision is permanent. Bind will not tolerate or promote guild hopping, as we require consistency to accomplish our goals.
3) Alternate Characters - Alternate characters are a welcome addition to the guild. You may have as many alternates in the guild as you like - but as we are a "one guild guild", we ask that your main character is also in the guild. Alternate characters will be ranked "ALT" and have their associated main listed in the player note for quick identification.
4) Level Restriction - Bind is presently a guild that only accepts characters level 65+. This policy is subject to change at any time as the guild progresses deeper into the endgame.
Policies - Website
1) All members are responsible for maintaining current knowledge of guild activity. The forums will be our primary means of communication. We strongly encourage members to check the website regularly.
2) Forums - The forums follow the same guidelines as /g and the rest of the Warcraft world. The forums allow us to stay in touch and get to know each other better. Each rank within the guild allows you access to different parts of the forums. If you do not have the correct access, make sure to contact the GM or any officer.
Ventrilo
Download Ventrilo here: www.ventrilo.com
The Ventrilo server is available to anybody in the guild to use for questing, instances, or just chatting. Login information can be found in the "Guild Information" screen in game and also in the member forums. The policies that apply to /g and the rest of the Warcraft world also apply to Ventrilo.
