Application For Membership

Requirements

» Dedicated/Active - ready to participate and excel in high level raid content
» Skilled - raid spots are earned, not given
» Mature - please be 18 years or older and able to take criticism
» Attendance - Be able to attend 90%+ of scheduled raids

The Application Process

Step One: - Before you fill out the application, make sure you read our guild charter to make sure you feel we're the right fit for you. If that looks good, fill out the application on this page. It will be sent to the Guild Master for review. Incomplete or blatantly ignorant applications will be ignored.

Step Two: - Your application will be posted in our forums for review. If it is decided that you might fit in and be an asset to the raid, one of our officers will contact you in game for an interview. That officer will post on your application thread with details of the talk. If needed, a second officer may contact you as well.

Step Three: - If you are accepted, you'll be invited into the guild as an initiate (rank: Brostar Chongo) and be expected to participate as if you had been here since day one. You will be given a forums and Ventrilo login. This is an evaluation stage (approximately two-three weeks) where you will be judged on how well you seem to be integrating into the guild. You will also be assessed on your raid performance (the entire package: stats, teamwork, and social aspects). New members gain dkp/attendance and are not gimped in any way.

Step Four: - If after your evaluation period you appear to be a good fit, you'll be promoted to the general raiding rank (rank: Member). If not, you will be notified of the decision and removed from the guild. We do have a casual rank, but we do not recruit for that rank. Players ranked Casual are older members that have been grandfathered into the guild from an earlier time. In some cases we may feel there is not enough information/feedback to determine your compatibility with the guild and your evaluation period may be extended.

This process as well as the extensive application may seem overkill, but we feel it is neccessary to make sure the people we bring into the guild will compliment those already here. The application mentioned in step one follows below. Thank you for your interest in joining Bind!

We currently raid Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday each week. If needed, Thursday and Monday are available days to schedule a raid to finish up the week's content. Raid times are from 7:00pm-11:30pm CST (invites at 6:45pm, first pull at 7:00pm, raids will go no later than 11:45pm). Would you be available during these times? If no, please explain.






Do you have ventrilo, a working microphone and headset? (these items are required of all players in Bind as it is a necessary tool for quick communication in raids)
