Bind, US Sargeras Warcraft Guild

About Bind

Introduction

11/20/2011 – We’re Alliance now and on Sargeras. Updated history coming soon.

Bind is a Horde-side World of Warcraft guild on the US Archimonde server. As a guild, we’re committed to being a tight-knit and welcoming community that enjoys high end progression and the company of other players. Bind members share the common goal of participating in endgame content with as little drama as possible.

History

In the final days of Vanilla Warcraft, many guilds were disbanding anticipating major changes with The Burning Crusade. For every guild that broke up, five upstarts emerged. Most of those guilds have long vanished, but a few remain. Bind is one of those guilds. Discussed for several weeks, Bind was officially formed by a small group of friends on December 24, 2006. The founding core sought to use their experience in AQ20/40, BWL, MC, and ZG to build a guild that could take on content in the upcoming expansion.

During The Burning Crusade, Bind saw many changes to its roster and focus. There were a few large recruiting drives that sometimes only worked for a short period of time. With all the ups and downs of the expansion, Bind was still able to work its way through a good deal of the content Burning Crusade had to offer. We officially stopped raiding shortly before the 3.0 nerf. Specifics of the guild’s progression can be viewed in our archives.

Wrath again saw major changes to the structure of the guild. New faces, new skills, and new content drove everybody to reach 80 as quickly as possible. Once there, the first tier of content proved to be trivial in comparison to the difficulty of the previous expansion. We worked our way through most of Ulduar, then all of T9 and T10 content. By late summer 2010, we had defeated the Lich King in 10/25 then went 4/12H in 25 man and 8/12H in 10 man. Burnt on the current content and looking forward to some time off before the expansion, the guild officially stopped raiding in August 2010. Some players took advantage of this downtime and took a break. Others rolled alts or worked on achievements. Bind was one of the winners of the guild beta contest. This gave a large portion of our people an opportunity to experiment with the new features months in advance as well. Specifics of the guild’s progression can be viewed in our archives.

For Cataclysm, Bind will continue to raid as a 25 man guild – leveling together and pushing new content as it is released.

Membership Applications / Contact Bind

If Bind sounds like the type of group you are looking for, click here to view the recruitment process and apply. The guild has specific raid needs listed at the top of each page, but we’ll always consider an exceptional applicant if they fit the mold of what we look for in our members. We are not in the market for guild hoppers, elitist attitudes, people with shitty mics, little kids, and those who find great joy “standing in the shit”. To see who all is online, type:

Any Bind member online will be able to direct you to somebody within leadership or their alt.
