June 17, 2009 Tier 8 Progression Update VII: Freya Down
Click above for large view of Freya
The last few weeks have been difficult in terms of raiding. Summer has arrived, and with it has come attendance problems. In addition to the weak attendance, several key changes to our group balance has made taking the next step in Ulduar more difficult than most of us would have liked for it to be. After downing Hodir in our previous milestone, he's not quite "farm" content and gives the group troubles from time to time. We worked through that this week and started to take some shots at Freya.
We had only previously somewhat attempted this encounter before tonight. It was a few 9 or so tries until the trash respawned on us a few weeks back. Tonight was round two, and things went much smoother. Having the previous attempts in the not-so-distant past and some 10man experience on our side, we set out to down the keeper and her ancients. Six attempts later, Freya had fallen and posed for a picture with the group. First loots from her were [Boots of the Servant] given to Suioh, [Legplates of the Wayward Conqueror] given to Kyrre, and [Legplates of the Wayward Protector] looted by Proffit. We also picked up an [Alchemist's Cache] full of potions and other herby supplies.

May 27, 2009 Tier 8 Progression Update VI: Chalk Up Another One, Hodir Down
Click above for large view of Hodir
We've downed three new bosses in the last few days. Tonight's first kill came via Hodir in our first night of attempts. It took nine attempts before he dropped to be exact - not a bad number considering how difficult we'd been told he is. We took a few shots at Thorim afterwards, an encounter that seems like it may be a bit more frustrating than the last few bosses we've faced. First loots from Hodir included [Frozen Loop] which went to Lucendar, [Breastplate of the Wayward Conqueror] given to Vexum, and [Breastplate of the Wayward Vanquisher] awarded to Cowgiirl.

May 26, 2009 Tier 8 Progression Update V: Auriaya Down
Click above for large view of Auriaya
In our first night this week, we were hoping to clear up to Auriaya to begin working on the chaotic pull. It didn't take nearly as long as expected and we were able to down the crazy cat lady after a few attempts. The guild first kill was impressive, the loot not so much. [Gloves of the Stonereaper] was taken by Beardown, [Sandals of the Ancient Keeper] went to Vexum, and [Unbreakable Chestguard] ended up in the shard machine.

May 24, 2009 Tier 8 Progression Update IV: Haters Eat A Dick, Kologarn Down
Click above for large view of Kologarn
Kologarn fell and Auriaya got close. A few more attempts and she'd be dead as well. While it would have been nice to close out the Antechamber, it will have to wait until next week. First drops were [Shoulderpads of the Monolith] taken by Ecerogue, [Gloves of the Pythonic Guardian] taken by Judicia, and [Ironmender] looted by Prettyheals.

May 19, 2009 Tier 8 Progression Update III: Bind Chooses You, Stormcaller Brundir
Click above for large view of the Assembly of Iron
Tonight was a night of firsts (and seconds!) for Bind. Razorscale dropped the guild's first [Fragment of Val'anyr] which was given to Vexum. We also picked up our first two patterns, [Formula: Enchant Weapon - Blood Draining] from Ignis and [Pattern: Blue Belt of Chaos] from Stormcaller Brundir.
The Brundir kill of the Assembly of Iron was also a first kill, on our first attempt at downing them (not counting the disconnect wipe previously). First drops off the latest boss were [Steelbreaker's Embrace] taken by Soups, [Rune Ironhide Boots] taken by Zenob, and [Phaelia's Vestments of the Sprouting Seed] looted by Slerm.

May 06, 2009 Tier 8 Progression Update II: Ulduar 25
Click above for large view of XT-002 Deconstructor
It didn't take long after seeing the ten man for us to make our way into the 25 and begin working our way through the new content. The first stop this evening was the Vault of Archavon, where we hadn't been able to time a raid with Horde controlling Wintergrasp in some time. The boss dropped easily, but we were left with a bunch of gear nobody would use. Such is the way of the Vault.
Next on the agenda was Ulduar, where the plan was to take out Flame Leviathan (first downed on April 20th) for the easy loots and then get some attempts in on Razorscale. Things went much better than expected. We one shot Razorscale, took out Ignis in two attempts, then did the same with XT-002 Deconstructor. The night ended with a few attempts on Kologarn. Great job everybody pulling together to make this raid a success.

May 01, 2009 Hello 3.1 - Ulduar Begins!

After suffering through server lag, buggy bosses, and a few in-house issues; Bind was able to get down to business and do what we like most - downing content. Including tonight, there are currently eight bosses out the way in the new instance. While exciting, we know that these early runs are only to familiarize ourselves with what lies ahead...25 man versions.

March 18, 2009 Tier 7.5 Progression Update VII: Sarth +2 Two Shot

We did it with one, now we've done it with two. Two drake Sartharion the Onyx Guardian fell on our second attempt of the evening. With a bit more experience, we'll begin working on three to complete the progression. Our first expanded loot table drop was [Obsidian Greathelm] looted by Death.

March 04, 2009 Tier 7.5 Progression Update VI: Sarth +1 and Malygos Down First Night

Happy Birthday Omegaxx! For your birthday this year, you get two first kills. Having cleared Naxx 25 last night, we headed toward Sartharion with intentions of downing him quickly before taking out Archavon and calling it an early night. Instead we decided it was time to attempt drakes. Eight minutes later, our group of 24 had one shot Sartharion with 1 drake up. Our first expanded loot table drop was [The Sanctum's Flowing Vestments] looted by Vexum.
After downing Archavon, the night did not seem ready to end. We haven't taken a group into Malygos 25 yet, but thought it would be beneficial to take a few shots at the bearded dragon to see where we stand in relation to his enrage timer. Only six attempts later, Bind had its first Malygos 25 kill. In addition to several of the group looting Heart of Magic for their quest, the following first loots dropped: [Melancholy Sabatons] looted by Mantisstyle, [Unravelling Strands of Sanity] looted by Slerm, [Leggings of the Wanton Spellcaster] looted by Raincrow, and [Blue Aspect Helm] taken by Hateshot.

February 12, 2009 Tier 7.5 Progression Update V: Kel'Thuzad Down, Naxx 25 Cleared

It took six days over a a few weeks, but we did it. Kel'Thuzad has fallen and Heroic Naxxramas has now been cleared by Bind. Great job sticking together tonight. At times it was rough, but we pulled together and made it happen when it counted. It can only get smoother as we clear these bosses each week. Triumphant first loots were [Crown of the Lost Conqueror] taken by Vexum, [Crown of the Lost Vanquisher] taken by Ishiyuin, [Journey's End] taken by Tri, [Betrayer of Humanity] taken by Omegaxx, and [Cape of the Unworthy Wizard] looted by Vexum.

February 11, 2009 Tier 7.5 Progression Update IV: Naxx 25 Thaddius Down, Sapphiron One Shot

When the night began, nobody was really sure how things would end up. We'd be going up against last week's nemesis, and we weren't fully confident we'd manage to down him. He had been rather lucky in his fights against us, crossing us up when we least expected it and wiping the raid. Fortunately, Thaddius wasn't so lucky this time - at least not when all was said and done. It took a few attempts, but we were able to take him out. First loots were [Sabatons of Endurance] taken by Healsplz, [Legplates of the Lost Conqueror] taken by Kajunpaladin, and [Legplates of the Lost Vanquisher] taken by Unsungx.
Sapphiron was up next, one encounter away from the end. After explaining the fight to the few who had not ever been there (yes we had some brand new Naxx people with us), we buffed up and prepared for what many thought was to be a series of learning wipes to determine the flow of the fight on the larger scale. It wasn't needed, we one shot Sapphiron and then it hit us - KT was next, and we were in for a challenge. First loots off Sapphiron were [Bandit's Insignia] taken by Proffit, [Soul of the Dead] taken by Slerm, and [Ring of Decaying Beauty] looted by Vexum. We also got our first guild [Heroic Key to the Focusing Iris] which also went to Vexum. Kel'Thuzad wasn't as kind. While we had a few really close attempts, something always seemed to go horribly wrong in the final 20% causing the adds to spin out of control (generally, a tank dying) and bringing an abbrupt end to the fight. With proper coordination, KT and Naxx 25 should be cleared tomorrow.

February 05, 2009 Tier 7.5 Progression Update III: Naxx 25 Patchwerk, Grobbulus, Gluth One Shot

It's said that Patchwerk is a gear check in Heroic Naxxramas. It's where many guilds stumble, and where the majority of PUGs fall apart. That wouldn't be the case tonight. In our first attempt in the Construct Quarter, Patchwerk fell with only 24 people in the raid. There is video footage of this, and will be posted soon. First loots were [Belt of the Tortured] taken by Zenob, [Fool's Trial] which also went to Zenob, and [Libram of Tolerance] taken by Quelyn.
Grobbulus was next in line, and he also gave up the loots easily. By this time we only had lost one of the raid and were working with only 23. Excellent positioning by the tank and full awareness from the raid made this fight much easier than we ever imagined it to be in the Heroic version. First loots were [Girdle of Chivalry] taken by Sephoroth, [Slime Stream Bands] looted by Tri, [Desecrated Past] taken by Slerm, and [Cloak of the Shadowed Sun] awarded to Farquad.
Our next and final kill for the evening was Gluth. Like the two before him, we one shot Gluth and walked into the next room confident. First loots were [Eruption-Scarred Boots] taken by Quelyn, [Faceguard of the Succumbed] taken by Catdaddy, [Breastplate of the Lost Conqueror] taken by Suioh, and [Mantle of the Lost Protector] looted by Tri. These rewards would be the last of the evening - Thaddius was much harder than we had anticipated. Short on people, late at night, and crossed up charges sealed our fate. The heartbreaker was at the end when Thaddius stood there mocking us at 1% with 18k health. He'll have to die another day though. It was too late and it was time to finish up for the night.

January 27, 2009 Tier 7.5 Progression Update II: Naxx 25, Three Quarters Cleared First Night

Our first trip into Naxxramas 25 was a good one. Our intitial goals were to down a few bosses and maybe get some new gear into the raid. By the end of the night, we had cleared three quarters and were looking forward toward Patchwerk. Upgrades were everywhere, far too numberous to list, congratulations to all that got new pieces this evening.

January 21, 2009 Venturing Into 25 Man Content

We took our first steps into 25 man content this evening, and it proved to be successful. We didn't have enough people, but we went anyway. The most difficult part seemed to be (and eventually was) beating the enrage timer on Archavon. He's rough with only 18 people! The Giants first drops for us were [Valorous Dreadnaught Legplates] taken by Healsplz, and [Valorous Robe of Faith] taken by Vexum.
After finishing up in the Vault, we picked up two more guild members that had logged on and made our way to attempt Sartharion. Without an enrage timer looming over us, this encounter was a bit less stressful. Being down 5 players was still a challenge, but apparently [Heroic: Less Is More]. First loots were [Chestplate of the Great Aspects] taken by Catdaddy, [Mantle of the Eternal Sentinel] won by Farquad, and two pair of [Gauntlets of the Lost Protector] - one for Tri and one for Sephoroth. Great job everybody!

January 04, 2009 Tier 7 Progression Update VI: Ten Man Content Cleared

"The sinuous dragon rises from the water, a seemingly endless serpentine beast covered with crystalline scales of purest azure. The wings, looking too small to carry such a massive creature, are slick, and they shimmer as they reflect the light."
- Shadows & Light
It was on this day shortly after the New Year that Bind once again took on Malygos. It was only our second night of attemps on the Spellweaver of the Blue Dragonflight, our previous night being wipe-filled the night of New Year's Day. It didn't take nearly as many attempts when we reached Phase 3 with enough time to DPS down the dragon while in flight. First loots off our final ten man encounter for this Tier were [Black Ice] taken by Tri, and [Necklace of the Glittering Chamber] which ended up in the disenchanting machine. With a few more raid spots filled, we will be in twenty-fives shortly.

December 24, 2008 (sing to the tune of 'God Rest ye, Merry Gentlemen')

Submitted by a guild member with a flourish for the fantastic
God rest ye merry adventurers
Let nothing you dismay
Remember, beasts and dragons
were born for you to slay.
To save peons from monsters
When they have gone astray
O tidings of pwnage and joy,
pwnage and joy
O tidings of pwnage and joy!
In Azeroth, in Kalimdor,
These heroes roam the land
with spells and arrows quick to launch
Axe and sword in hand.
These nine did gather with intent
to bring a dragon's end.
O tidings of pwnage and joy,
pwnage and joy
O tidings of pwnage and joy!
From Revantusk they ventured forth
and geared themselves for war;
And unto vicious dragon
brought the might of the Horde:
How that in ruined temple
they settled the dragon's score.
O tidings of pwnage and joy,
pwnage and joy
O tidings of pwnage and joy!
"Fear not then," said our leader,
"Let nothing you affright,
This day we end a menace
Of fierce and terrible might,
To free all those who once did fear
On this here Christmas night."
O tidings of pwnage and joy,
pwnage and joy
O tidings of pwnage and joy

December 23, 2008 Tier 7 Progression Update V: Naxx 10 Cleared!

Walking into the room with Sapphiron put a damper on the raid, as the week before, this icy monster had repeatedly stomped all over the raid. The week between to think on the strategy did everyone good, as on this attempt nobody died to the AoE, and and everything went off smoothly. Seven minutes later, Sapphiron was dead and first drops were [Massive Skeletal Ribcage] went to Savlystra and [Circle of Life] to Suioh, as well as the [Key to the Focusing Iris], which went to Vexum.
After seeing how hard Sapphiron was, it was only natural to assume Kel'Thuzad would be quite the challenge. Wrong! Kel'Thuzad was easy - and we took him down without any problems on the second try. After only two weeks in Naxxramas BIND achieved a full clear! First loots were the [Death's Bite] went to Kajunpaladin, [Staff of the Plaguehound], which went to Slerm, and [Helm of the Lost Protector], which was won by Proffit.

December 16-18, 2008 Tier 7 Progression Update IV: Naxx 10 Construct Cleared

Gluth's army of zombies gave our kiters a bit of trouble last time, but were no match for an out of control Death Knight and his minions. His loot table was off, and the pants that dropped off an earlier boss dropped again and were fed to the disenchanting machine. Those first drops were [Splint-Bound Leggings] won the first time by Slerm and the second time by the Disenchant machine, and [Chestguard of the Lost Protector], taken by Healzplz. Only one boss stood between us and the Frostwyrm Lair.
Thaddius was a joke, and was downed easily in one attemot. Maybe it was our extensive experience in TBC Mechanar, or maybe the fight is just very generic. Either way, the last boss of the Contruct Quarter proved to be not much of a challenge. First loots were [Leggings of the Lost Vanquisher] (disenchant) and [Arc-Scorched Helmet], taken by Proffit. The excitement for the Sapphiron encounter was quickly smashed, as the ice dragon repeatedly destroyed the raid group. More planning and a change to the group makeup will be needed to ensure this boss going down anytime soon.

December 11, 2008 Tier 7 Progression Update III: Naxx 10 Plague and Military Cleared

Nights two and three proved no more difficult for the raid than the first. We started the night with Loatheb, the fungal giant who prevents healing. The first attempt was nearly successful, but feel short right at the end. The second attempt proved much better, the boss was eventually downed by a tank, healer, and melee dps from about 20% until his death. First drops were [Spaulders of the Lost Conqueror] going to Vexum and [Helm of the Corrupted Mind] to Judicia.
The first encounter in with Military Quarter was with Instructor Razuvious. Like the other first bosses of the quarters, Instructor was fairly easy. The first attempt was just getting used to the fight itself, but then we killed him without much trouble on the second attempt. First loots were the [Mantle of the Extensive Mind], won by Ishiyuin and [Rapid Attack Gloves] went to Unsungx. A few moments later we got our first trash drop - [Omen of Ruin], also won by Unsungx.
Gothik the Harvester proved to be a bit more difficult than we had figured, as getting the timing down on the two sides just wasn't happening. Once the groups and timing were worked out, it was quite a bit smoother. We had been trying not to overwhelm the second side and ended up getting behind on the first. Timing is everything, and once that was worked out, the fight went smoothly. First loots were [Sabatons of Deathlike Gloom] for Judicia and [Veiled Amulet of Life] for Slerm. All that remained between us and another complete quarter were The Four Horsemen.
It was strange to see the Horsemen lined up on that platform waiting for us. Baron Rivendare was a bit more menacing than the last any of us saw him in Stratholme. After discussing how to approach this fight for a long time, we agreed to take then with a small group in each corner. This way worked well and it wasn't long before we had taken down all four of the bosses. First loots were [Chestguard of the Lost Conqueror], won by Mbs and [Charmed Cierge], which went straight into the disenchant machine, alas.
The next night we were back in the instance to take on the final quarter of the zone. Patchwerk, the first boss, was a real DPS check, but after a few attempts, he too was defeated. For the first night since BIND began Naxxramas, it felt like real progression raiding. All the bosses had been fairly simple up until this point. And while Patchwerk went down after just a few attempts, it required much more from the group than had been needed in the previous nights. First loots from the fat man were [Gauntlets of Combined Strength] (disenchanted) and [Contagion Gloves], which went to Slerm.
The next boss of the night turned out to be our final boss of the evening. Grobbulus was an evil fight. Between disconnects and people blowing up on the group, it seemed like he might never die. Perseverance paid off, however, and Grobbulus eventually fell. By the time we had downed him, the group had a good handle on how to position the poisons to save the most space, and we are confident he'll be easier next time. First loots were [Putrescent Bands] (banked) and [The Skull of Ruin], which went to Healzplz. Gluth ended our evening, the adds just being too overwhelming to handle at the time. The attempts were solid, but alas, Gluth was not added to the progression list tonight.

December 09, 2008 Tier 7 Progression Update II: Rolling Into Naxxramas 10

BIND's ten man Wrath progression took a giant leap forward this evening with our first ventures into Naxxramas. The floating instance was new for most, as the majority of the guild did not raid Naxxramas at level 60. We began in the Arachnid Quarter, one shotting Anub'Rekhan to get the night started. First loots were [Band of Neglected Pleas] for Judicia and [Deflection Band] for Kajunpaladin. Grand Widow Faerlina was next in line, she and her worshippers standing between us and some new gear. She was also taken down after one attempt, and first loots were [Rusted-Link Spiked Gauntlets], which went to Proffit, and [Watchful Eye], which Slerm won.
The first real challenge of the evening was Maexxna. It took a few attempts to coordinate healing between the Web Sprays and Wraps, but she too was taken down without much trouble. With that, the Arachnid Quarter was clear and the night of endless rings continued. First loots were [Timeworn Silken Band] (surprise!), which went to Ishiyuin, and [Leggings of Discord], won by Zenob.
Determined to loot more rings, we moved onto the Plague Quarter and encountered Noth the Plaguebringer. This fight was quite easy and much to our delight gave us yet another ring. [Ring of the Fated] and [Bone-Framed Bracers] were looted to Mbs and Judicia, respectively.
Our hopes of clearing two quarters in the first night were squashed when we finished up the bug gauntlet and faced Heigan the Unclean. The green floor was a little difficult for the raid until we decided to mark waypoints with ground flares. Heigan was downed easily soon afterwards and Zenob looted [Cuffs of Dark Shadows] and Ishiyuin, [Preceptor's Bindings].

December 02, 2008 Wrath Progression Begins

For BIND, raiding in the new expansion begins a little differently that it did with the Burning Crusade. In TBC, we didn't have many immediate goals for raiding. The guild was only a few months old, very small, a few of us were re-rolling, and others were spending a good portion of their time on newly created Blood Elf alts. With Wrath, things were different. A good portion of the guild pushed toward 80 very quickly with intentions of getting an early jump on the content Wrath holds at the end. Tonight, BIND took its first steps into level 80 raid progression.
After the Horde secured Wintergrasp, we assembled our people for a 10-man Vault of Archavon. A few of the group were familiar with the fight, and it proved to be easy pickings. One attempt and Archavon the Stone Watcher fell. Our first loots weren't particularly memorable, [Hateful Gladiator's Leather Legguards] went to Zenob, and [Hateful Gladiator's Mooncloth Gloves] to Vexum.
Excited by the first successful run this expansion, we decided to go take a shot at Sartharion the Onyx Guardian in the Obsidian Sanctum. After two attempts, Sartharion dropped. First loots from this boss were a bit better, [Dragon Hide Bag] went to Vexum, [Satchel of Spoils] to Slerm, Zenob won [Crimson Steel], and [Gloves of the Lost Conqueror] looted by one of the warlocks, Mbs, and quickly swapped for [Heroes' Plagueheart Gloves].

November 13, 2008 Slerm, Realm First Grand Master Angler and Cooking!

"Lots of people committed crimes during the year who would not have done so if they had been fishing. The increase of crime is among those deprived of the regenerations that impregnate the mind and character of the fisherman."
-Herbert Hoover
Congratulations Slerm, Archimonde's First Grand Master Angler and Chef! It was a pleasant surprise to see not one, but two realm achievement pop up on the screen. And if you all know Slerm, you know it couldn't have gone to a more deserving player. Of all the people in our guild, it only makes sense that Slerm would be the one to go out and take on this task. He's snatched up [Old Crafty] in Orgrimmar and [Old Ironjaw] in Ironforge, fished up enough watery creatures to make Captain Ahab ill, and generally put more effort into this than many of us would like to think about. So again, congratulations, and if you ever need to find Slerm, your best bet will probably be to look somewhere close to water.
Update: In the time since the Fishing and Cooking firsts were recorded, Slerm has also pushed forward and knocked out the rest of his achievements to earn the title 'Salty'. I propose a new title: Slerm, King of Secondary Professions.

November 13, 2008 Wrath Night One

Like many guilds, several of us waited in line for midnight sales to get our hands on our Wrath copies as soon as possible. To some it might be crazy, but we all know better. The latest installment of a game we've all come to enjoy so much was about to be released and we needed to be some of the first to have it. It was worth every moment.
We met on the Ventrilo server while our games were installing. The single DVD made it quick, although it seemed like an eternity. A few reinstalled patches, some updated addons, and we were ready to go. The plan this evening? Avoid the crowds while getting some experience in Utgarde Keep and The Nexus. It was both exicting and beautiful. Hours and hours later, the sun was up and we were left with a stack of screenshots.

November 12, 2008 Wrath Hits Tomorrow!

It's here.
There are not enough words in the English language to accurately encompass the excitement burning in the collective stomach of the guild right now. Since we stopped raiding we have been a lackadaisical bunch, sleep-walking our way through leveling alts, knocking out old-world raid instances, and racking up achievements. 3.0.2 was a spurt of activity (hampered somewhat by our poor laggy server!) and the addition of new members is always a good way to spark some interest in the old-timers around here. But it's not enough to keep a guild going on. We were bored. Without a regular raiding schedule, many members decided to take a break until Wrath. Some turned to alts (with the help of Refer-a-Friend!) and some turned to farming reputation with various old world and Outlands factions. And so, we slowly passed the days leading up to the release of Lich King.
For the past week, palpable excitement has been building. Plans are being made, people are being recruited. Last-minute hasty changes to gear, scrabbling to get a couple more badges for that mace, or those pants, stockpiling of potions and bandages. This is big. For the Warcraft lore geeks among us (myself included!) this is the culmination of the Warcraft story. Arthas is it: the main man, the final boss. Fighting him will be everything we have been building up to. Kil'jaeden? Illidan? Archimonde? Children compared to Arthas. Vashj and Kael'thas? Forget them. We turn our eyes north, squinting against the icy needles in the wind. The Lich King has already launched his Scourge armies, and we have beaten them back. We are taking the fight north now, to the Lich King's doorstep. Don't get me wrong, Outlands has been extremely good to B I N D. But we hunger for something new, something exciting, something dangerous.
For now though, we are preparing. A case of energy drinks sits behind me, and I'm sure Vexum has bought a surplus of coffee for this week. Vacations taken from work, classes are about to be skipped. We who write for the website will be doing overtime, scrambling to level and keep pace with all the new content (yeah, sleep is for the weak!).
13th November. 12.01 AM. Where will you be?
Me, I'll be in the car on the way home from GameStop, ripping the cellophane off my expansion, and you better believe nothing else is getting done that week!
I'll see you in Northrend!

November 04, 2008 The Scourge Invasion

"The Scourge are up to something..."
-Sayge's fortune #19
Like the first invasion, the plague started as a whisper on the wind, a foul odor scented and then gone. It began innocuously enough; an extra few crates unclaimed on the docks of Booty Bay, more movement than usual in the Eastern Plaguelands, and an icy wind from the north. The Argent Dawn stirred uncomfortably, prayed more fervently, and loosened their swords against the tide they knew was soon to break.
Soon, it spread. An illness among grunts and heroes alike, it came upon each next race as suddenly as the last, spreading. It grew more virulent as the people dropped, and it grew more horrific as from their corpses rose shambling terrors to spread the disease. The Argent Dawn sent healers, but they were spread too thin, and the disease continued its virulent rampage across the land.
Suddenly, it ceased. The plague stopped its spread, the ghouls halted and rotted away, and the Horde bowed its head in relief. The worst, however, was yet to come. Necropolises moved in swiftly, pinning down the gates to the cities, holding the citizens in check as the Scourge rapidly put in place the second wave of their attack. Necropolises descended around the world, attacking the remote regions of the world, seeking to establish a power base from which to continue launching their attacks on the living world. Azshara, the Blasted Lands, Winterspring, Tanaris, the Eastern Plaguelands, and the Burning Steppes all came under vicious attacks as the Scourge hordes moved in.
Finally mobilized and ready, the Argent Dawn swiftly sent out a call for heroes across the realm to put aside factional differences and take up sword and spear and spell against the tide that threatened to once more overwhelm Azeroth. Horde and Alliance both answered the call, the memories of the last Scourge invasion too fresh in their minds.

October 16, 2008 Titles: The Hallowed

With the new content patch released, and a month to kill before Wrath of the Lich King drops, players turn their eyes to the newly installed achievement system. Some of these achievements are small (Shave and a Haircut!) and some are large enough to warrant a title. The big ones often require world events or a mastery of multiple smaller achievements associated with dungeons, exploration, professions, or a multitude of other things.
The first opportunity for players to get a title associated with a world event is coming up soon. Holidays in World of Warcraft are always highly entertaining, but this year a new enticement has been added: the new player title "the Hallowed". This is a broadly encompassing Title Achievement is comprised of several smaller achievements, some small and easy, others time-consuming, and still more dependent on the seasonal boss drops.
Here is BIND's overview to getting your character that title. All of these achievements must be completed for the title.

October 13, 2008 Goodbye Outlands!

In anticipation for the upcoming release of Wrath of the Lich King, BIND is updating our website, clearing out some cobwebs, and adding some new features. We have added several new things, including guides to classes, professions and races to help out new players, or even older players who may be looking to try something new. In addition to what is available now we will be adding many more features, including profiles on the new Death Knight Hero class and the new profession, Inscription, as information becomes more readily available and reliable, as well as guides on achievements. BIND Recruiting!
Updated: July 4, 2009
Summer is here and with it has come some fluxuations in our attendance. You can fill a spot if you're prepared to raid three nights a week progressing toward clearing Ulduar 25 and then hardmodes. Our current needs are listed below, but there is very limited room for one or two exceptional players that aren't listed if the fit is right.
Raid spots are competitive, 100% attendance and doing what it takes to succeed will gain an applicant the spot over a current raider. We currently raid Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday at 6:45pm server. Only applicants that can raid all three of our scheduled days will be considered.
Having multiple specs, sets of gear, and the skill to play those specs is a plus. Limited non-raid positions are also available for some individuals. Read our guild charter to see what we're all about and fill out an application if you feel you would be a good addition to the guild.
We're currently accepting applications for:
1 - Paladin (Protection/Retribution)
1 - Paladin (Holy)
1 - Druid (Restoration)
1 - Druid (Balance)
1 - Druid (Feral)
1 - Hunter
1 - Warrior (Arms)
1 - Shaman (Enhance)
1 - Shaman (Elemental)
1 - Shaman (Resto)
